Capelas, north west Sao Miguel, Azores Another spectacular cliff with a little road down to the bottom, where fishing boats are harboured and you can swim. Local lads dive off the jetty and the odd scooter roars up the steep lane. There is a small café at the top of the cliff, serving great lunches. We sat here watching the lizards play on the wall, while eating a delicious plate of grilled shellfish. (Oh, by the way, the toilets are fashioned from upturned boat hulls - just thought you might like to know that.)
