Ponta Delgada, Sao Miguel, Azores: Palacio de Conceicao, Conceicao Palace. Well, we went to look at this but it didn't look much like a palace and by that time we were getting very hot and sticky. Sao Miguel is such a peaceful, rural place that we found the contrast with Ponta Delgada, just too busy and crowded. So we gave up and headed for the mountains again. Sorry.
